The tour starts with a visit to the historic Cathedral of St Asaph before traveling deeper into North Wales. There is a brief stop in the mountain village of Bethesda to pick up supplies, followed by a journey to the shores of Llyn Ogwen.
Enjoy an easy guided walk of around 5 km beside Llyn Ogwen, surrounded by striking mountain scenery. Along the route, your guide shares local history and Welsh legends, giving you a deeper understanding of the area.
Continue along one of Wales' most scenic mountain roads to a viewpoint overlooking Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales. Later, visit the lakeside village of Llanberis and explore the ruins of Dolbadarn Castle, which dates back over 800 years.
Before returning to Manchester, the tour concludes with a visit to Ewloe Castle, a medieval fortress set in quiet woodland and rarely included in day tours.
